about
The song was written to empathise with our earth and our wildlife as we face climate change and destruction of forests and nature by humans. It is a song of hope and a call for action to help save our planet, ecosystems and habitats to create a more sustainable future for all creatures
I wonder if you share, this fear of the future,
‘Cos I feel your pain so deep.
And can you hear the voices, that tell us you’re worthless
Why can’t they just let it be.
Chorus
We’ve got to hold on, keep strong,
Make right, what’s wrong,
Hold on, in love’s name.
Verse 2
As I see you suffering, my heavy heart wants to bring
An end to this crazy misery.
But all I can do now is wait for that truth bow
And hope for the day they’ll all see.
Chorus
Middle 8
For we now have the plunder of the beauty and wonder
Our earth and its creatures hold dear.
We’re seeing the destruction, of the nature we rely on
For species to survive future years.
Chorus
Outro
We’ve got to save our planet, re-plant trees,
Make habitats for birds and bees.
Hold on, in love’s name.
Hold on, in love’s name.
